Top 10 Claude AI Training Providers and Speakers for Bollywood and Film Events in 2027

Before choosing an AI trainer, an entertainment company should know what Indian law now expects. Since 2024 one High Court has shielded a leading actor's face from deepfakes, another has stopped AI tools from cloning a playback singer's voice, and MeitY has made labels mandatory for synthetic content on platforms. Any training your writers, marketers or festival staff receive in 2027 has to sit inside those rules.
This buyer's guide is for heads of development, marketing and post at production houses, OTT platforms and music labels, and for producers of award shows, film festivals and celebrity management events who want a credible AI session. The opportunity is big: EY's FICCI report of 24 March 2026 valued Indian media and entertainment at INR 2.78 trillion for 2025, with digital media above INR 1 trillion for the first time.
Quick answer
Pick by job. Crews who want to generate footage should look at FTII or Whistling Woods. What the law now expects from entertainment teams
Labelling. The IT Amendment Rules 2026 were notified on 10 February and took effect on 20 February 2026. Platforms must prominently label synthetically generated information, embed provenance metadata, ask uploaders to declare AI content and act on certain orders within three hours, according to Business Today. Marketing teams should keep records of which promos used AI.
Likeness and voice. On 11 September 2025 Onmanorama reported that Justice Tejas Karia of the Delhi High Court granted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan an interim injunction covering misuse through generative AI, deepfakes and face morphing. In Arijit Singh v Codible Ventures (2024), the Bombay High Court restrained AI voice cloning of the singer, as AZB and Partners summarises. Written consent from talent is the safe default.
Copyright. A DPIIT committee working paper dated 8 December 2025 proposes that AI developers get a mandatory blanket licence to train on copyrighted works, paying government set royalties once their systems are commercialised. The debate is open, so treat scripts, lyrics and stems as confidential assets.

2. FTII, Centre for Open Learning (India)
The Film and Television Institute of India publishes a busy calendar of AI short courses across cities and online. Its Mumbai course The Art of Filmmaking and The Craft of AI Cinema combined a five day craft foundation (premise, screenplay, breakdowns, scheduling, shooting, editing) with ten days of AI filmmaking, from layered prompting to a group short film, in English and Hindi.
Best for: crew who want structured AI filmmaking practice from a national institute.

3. Anthropic Academy (Online)
The free course library from Anthropic, maker of Claude, with an AI Fluency course and tracks for work and personal use, each awarding a certificate. We recommend it to writers' rooms as shared homework before any workshop.
Best for: writers and assistants starting with Claude.

4. Whistling Woods International (Mumbai)
Subhash Ghai's film school runs an Applied AI Filmmaking short course: four weeks, hybrid, combining live hours with assignment hours and a team capstone. It suits filmmakers, editors and creators with prior content experience and covers AI pipelines from script to edit, including generation, lip sync, VFX and compute budgeting.
Best for: editors and directors adding AI tools to their craft.
Format: hybrid intensive.

5. Media and Entertainment Skills Council (India)
Founded in 2012 and promoted by FICCI under NSDC, MESC sets national occupational standards for the sector, runs training of trainers and assessors, and certifies learners through more than 150 affiliated training partners. No Claude or generative AI course appears on the page we checked.
Best for: HR teams formalising certified skills for crew and staff.

7. Coursera, AI Fundamentals with Claude (Online)
Created by Advancing Women in Tech with Anthropic and sponsored by Anthropic and 1Password, this beginner course runs about four hours across four modules. Learners practise prompt structure, brainstorming with Claude, Artifacts and connectors, and earn a shareable certificate.
Best for: publicity and production coordinators new to Claude.

10. National Film and Television School (United Kingdom)
NFTS and Amazon MGM Studios run AI for Film and TV: Tools, Protocols and Practices, a six month online certificate on Monday evenings that started on 2 November 2026. It covers IP and licensing, synthetic voices and likenesses, and AI across production. Entry is limited to UK residents, but the published syllabus is a strong template for an Indian studio's own AI protocol.
Best for: studio leaders benchmarking an AI policy.
