Karnataka wants 1,000 global capability centres by 2029, according to the final GCC policy the state released at the Bengaluru Tech Summit. Every one of those centres will need people who can use AI assistants safely on real work, and Claude is now a serious contender in that budget line.

This buyer's guide is for L&D heads, GCC site leaders and startup operators in Bengaluru who must sign off a Claude training spend for 2027. We checked each provider's official page on 8 November 2026, described what it actually offers, and added a scorecard you can use on any vendor, including Digital Training Jet.

Three Bengaluru facts that shape a 2027 Claude budget

  • Anthropic is local now. Its first India office opened in Bengaluru on 16 February 2026 under Managing Director Irina Ghose. Anthropic names Air India, CRED, Swiggy, Razorpay and Pratham among the organisations it works with in India.

  • The product changed in one quarter. Claude Opus 5.5 launched on 22 September 2026 and Sonnet 5.5 on 28 September, after Anthropic merged Cowork and chat into a single Claude experience on 16 September. Training bought from a 2025 syllabus will feel dated.

  • Compliance clocks are running. The DPDP Rules were notified on 14 November 2025 with eighteen months for phased compliance, so a Claude rollout should come with written data rules. This is general information, not legal advice.

2. IIM Bangalore Executive Education (campus programme)

For leaders who must decide where AI goes before anyone writes a prompt, IIMB offers "Artificial Intelligence for Senior Leaders", three days on campus for people with ten or more years of experience. The outline for the September 2026 batch covered generative and agentic AI, how to structure AI teams, responsible AI and the DPDP Act. IIMB itself describes the approach as use case led with little hands on time, and no tools are named, so confirm whether Claude features.

3. Anthropic Academy (Online)

Before paying anyone, every Bengaluru buyer should look at Anthropic's free academy. Courses such as Claude 101, Introduction to Claude Cowork, AI Fluency and AI Capabilities and Limitations cover the basics well, and a separate course walks admins through the decisions behind a Claude Enterprise rollout. We suggest Claude 101 as pre work so the live session starts at a higher level.

4. NobleProg India (Bangalore)

NobleProg publishes one of the widest Claude catalogues we found for the city: business introductions, Claude Cowork for delegating research and documents, Claude Skills for business teams, finance and legal tracks, and several Claude Code and Agent SDK courses for developers. Sessions are remote live or onsite, with a classroom at UB City and public dates starting 22 December 2026.

5. Edstellar (corporate, onsite or virtual)

Edstellar sells "Claude for Enterprise Teams" as a 16 hour corporate package in four modules, ending in a capstone where participants build a team prompt library and present it for review. The outline covers safe enterprise use, drafting, analysis and workflow templates. Delivery is instructor led and can be virtual, onsite or hybrid at your offices.

6. The Knowledge Academy (Bangalore)

This one day course moves through six modules, from Claude basics and prompt structure to long document work, everyday business tasks such as SOP drafts, light coding help and safe use. Buyers can choose an online class with a live instructor, a self paced version, a Bangalore classroom or an in house session for a group.

7. IISc Centre for Continuing Education (online)

GCC engineering teams sometimes need the science, not the shortcuts. IISc CCE's "Generative AI: Principles and Applications" was scheduled as live Saturday morning classes from May to July 2026, with Python and a basic degree as entry requirements. It teaches generative models, large language models and alignment with PyTorch. It does not teach Claude as a product.

8. Koenig Solutions (Bangalore)

Koenig's one day "Claude for Everyday Productivity" lasts eight hours and can be booked as a classroom day, a live online class or a one to one session with a dedicated instructor. The course page lists Bangalore among its Indian locations. Useful when a few people need a quick, scheduled start rather than a programme.

9. Coursera: AI Fundamentals with Claude (Online)

Advancing Women in Tech and Anthropic offer this beginner course on Coursera. In roughly four hours it teaches structured prompting, brainstorming and planning with Claude, and using Artifacts and Connectors to turn ideas into deliverables. Learners study at their own pace and can earn a shareable certificate.

10. iCert Global (Bangalore)

iCert Global runs a four day Claude AI certification bootcamp, offered in a Bangalore classroom or as live online sessions, with recordings and a self paced alternative. It is aimed at newcomers: digital marketers, support staff, analysts, project managers and entrepreneurs. When we checked, the next batch dates were still being set.


How to compare Claude training providers in Bengaluru: a buyer's scorecard

Score each vendor from 0 to 2 on these points.

  1. Dated Claude delivery in the past six months, with the kind of team named.

  2. Fluency in what is current: Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5, the single Claude app with Cowork inside, Projects, connectors, skills, Claude Docs and Slides.

  3. Practice on your material: sanitised tickets, contracts, SOPs or decks, not generic demos.

  4. A data plan that respects the DPDP Act and your global parent's AI policy.

  5. Licence advice across Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise, including the Enterprise security and admin controls Anthropic added on 5 November 2026.

  6. Take away assets and support: prompt library, team rulebook, follow up clinic.

  7. A reference you can call from a comparable organisation.


A sample one day Claude agenda for a Bengaluru GCC team

  • Morning block: team rules on data, a shared Claude Project loaded with approved files, prompt patterns for summaries and comparisons.

How long should a Claude programme for a GCC be?

For most functions, one live day or two half days, plus a follow up clinic, is a practical starting format. Engineering teams that adopt Claude Code usually need an extra technical block.
