Claude Playbook for Professionals 2026: Prompts for 22 Departments and 30 Professions
The Claude Playbook for Professionals, 2026 edition, by Parikshit Khanna of Digital Training Jet is now a full field manual: 582 pages with 1,285 copy-and-paste prompts for 22 departments and 30 professions, built from the Claude programmes we deliver to corporate teams across India.

Why I rebuilt it
In almost every training room I see the same thing. People open Claude, type one line, get an average answer and decide AI is overrated. Give the same people the right feature and the right prompt, and they finish a day's work before lunch. Claude has also changed a lot in 2026: Cowork, Skills, Plugins, Connectors, the new Artifacts templates and new plans called Max and Ultra. Most guides on the market cover one of these. This playbook covers all of them, in one place, for people who are not developers.
What is inside
Claude foundations: models, tokens, context windows, prompting, Projects, Memory, files and safe use, plus a 30 day adoption plan.
Plans and prices: Free, Pro, Max, Ultra, Team and Enterprise compared, with India rupee pricing and tips for every tier.
A to Z of terms: 200 terms, each with its meaning, why it matters, an example and a prompt to try.
Connectors: what a connector is, every useful one explained (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Slack, Notion, Canva, Microsoft 365 and more) and which work on Free versus paid plans.
Artifacts: what artifacts are, the new Docs, Slides and Design templates, and dozens of artifact prompts for tools, dashboards and diagrams.
Skills and Plugins: how SKILL.md works, 25 ready skill templates, and how plugins bundle skills, commands and connectors for a team.
Claude Cowork and Claude Code: 40 Cowork tasks, CLAUDE.md templates, slash commands, subagents, hooks, MCP and AI agents explained simply.
Department prompt library: 20 prompts each for 22 departments, from HR and Finance to Legal, Operations, IT and the CXO office.
Prompts for every professional: 30 personas including doctors, teachers, CAs, lawyers, founders, students, homemakers and senior citizens.

Free, Pro, Max or Ultra: which plan do you need?
Start on Free to learn the basics: chat, web search, files, Artifacts, connectors, memory and skills all work there. Move to Pro when you want Research, Cowork, Claude Code and Claude in Chrome. Max and Ultra are for people who run Cowork or Claude Code for hours every day. Teams should use a Team plan rather than personal accounts, so company data stays under admin control. The playbook has a full comparison and a prompt that recommends a plan from your real usage.
What is a token, and why do limits run out?
Claude reads and writes in tokens, small pieces of words. One token is roughly three quarters of an English word, and Indian languages often use more tokens per word. Your usage is counted in tokens, so a long chat with three PDFs attached uses far more than a short question. Starting a new chat for a new topic and keeping reference files in a Project are the two habits that save the most.
